    For those who like it raw, rowdy, and light, the AWE Track Edition is for you. The Track Edition comes equipped with bullet resonators in the mid pipes, and shares the same bespoke stainless steel stamped merge and precision engineering as its Touring Edition counterpart, minus AWE*s patented drone-canceling solution, 180 Technology?. Drivers can expect an 11 lb weight savings compared to stock. In place of the 180 Technology? resonators in the rear are dual Track Edition straight sections. As a result, this version is known to get (really) rowdy in mid range acceleration and deceleration, and may be too much for many. Due to this reason, AWE Track Edition Exhausts cannot be returned based on sound preference. You've been warned. However...we made it easy to convert between Track and Touring Editions, if you ever want to quiet it down a bit. Easy. Comes complete with statement-making 5*, double-walled, slash-cut tips in either Chrome Silver or Diamond Black, complete with a stamped AWE logo. It*s A90 attack time.

Translation: an impressive 65% increase in flow over stock that future proofs for downpipes of various sizes. Beyond the unique merge, the exhaust splits into dual 3* piping to allow optimal flow throughout the entire exhaust route. Bringing up the rear, the Touring Edition features AWE*s patented drone-canceling solution, 180 Technology?, which targets and omits drone-prone frequencies. What*s this mean for you? You*ll be tuned into a pure, full-bodied B58 soundtrack unlike any other. Equipping a downpipe? If you're equipping an aftermarket downpipe with an outlet larger than 80mm, we've made it easy for you. Removal of the included inlet adapter will be required, which will then leave you with the 3.5" diameter inlet of the stamped stainless steel merge. A simple custom adapter will be required to bridge the gap between your aftermarket downpipe and the 3.5" diameter inlet of stamped stainless steel merge. We've future-proofed your exhaust for big power with no less than 3.5" of high-flow fury. The Touring Edition Exhaust is available as non-resonated or resonated. We recommend the non-resonated variant for vehicles equipped with the stock downpipe. If your Supra is equipped with an aftermarket downpipe, we recommend going resonated. Both our Resonated and Non-Resonated Downpipes feature larger than stock tubing diameter. These post-cat downpipes replace the factory resonated downpipes, and pair directly to existing AWE exhausts.     During development of AWE high horsepower turbos kits for the 997TT, AWE experienced excessively high intake air temperatures. Upon close examination of the stock intercoolers, AWE found they matched the same specs as the 996TT X50/GT2 design, which is suitable to 600hp, but not much beyond that. Since an OEM option was not available, and AWE power goals were well north of 700hp, AWE undertook the task to construct a completely new intercooler system. Compared to stock, AWE cores are 37% larger (422 cubic inches vs 308 cubic inches). In contrast to the stock cores, AWE are a high flow bar and plate style and are built to our charge row and fin count specs. These specifications resulted in improved intake temperatures by a massive 55F and improved drop pressure resistance through the core by 1 psi. Considering that extremely little trimming is involved to fit such effective units to the car, this is a huge engineering feat. In addition to the superior core and end tank design, the AWE kit also features 6-ply silicone hoses with gentle curves to prevent bursting under pressure. They are attached to the intake and turbos by stainless steel high force t-bolt clamps, and a molded lip is integrated where the hoses meet the turbos to imitate the factory locking mechanism. Further, AWE hoses use a Nomex braiding for superior strength, instead of more common polyester. The very best materials and industry-leading engineering separate this kit from all others on the market. Whether you are simply running enhanced software, or are planning on a larger turbo upgrade for your car, AWE intercoolers solve all heat-related issues that come with more turbo boost. Sophisticated, refined, and powerful, all in one package. Making good, better The stock exhaust system on a B8.5 A4 is full of crimped tubing obstructs exhaust flow and robs horsepower. The AWE B8.5 A4 Touring Edition Exhaust and Downpipe are designed using CAD modeling software to produce smooth gradual bends and to eliminate any interruption to the flow of exhaust gasses. Our improvements to the exhaust path result in gains of 8-9 horsepower and 6-7 lb ft of torque at the crank. AWE A4 Touring Edition Exhaust - Quad Outlet (Four total tips, two on each side) The quad-tip version of our A4 Touring Edition Exhaust features four 90mm (3.50 inch) slash-cut tips, located on each side of the car. The tips sport engraved AWE logos and are double-walled to ensure a mirror polish, even under hard usage. The difference comes in the removal of AWE*s sound-cancelling 180 Technology* rear-mufflers, which can be found on our Touring Edition Exhaust. Warning - this thing gets rowdy! This system will produce a louder tone in the mid range. S-Tronic owners beware: This system will be especially loud at part throttle. Given the removal of the rear-mufflers, this system cannot be returned due to sound.As far as downpipes (sold separately), AWE offers Resonated and Non-Resonated Downpipes.     And in 2012, AWE introduced carbon fiber shrouds to the mix, producing a lighter, and more aesthetically appealing kit as well. The bulk of the AWE side mount intercooler testing was conducted on S4s with the previously available AWE RSK04 kit installed. This is important to consider, given that as boost rises, so will boost drop due to core restriction. Thus, an intercooler can perform well at relatively low boost levels but can begin to perform worse than stock if the boost drop is high enough to negate any gains seen from temperature drops. Not only did AWE want the Audi 2.7T Performance Intercooler Kit to be clearly superior to the RS4 unit performance, but AWE also ensured that it would require very little modification to the US spec Audi 2.7T models during fitment. The RS4 intercooler units are made to fit the Europe only RS4 and mating them to a US spec 2.7T model requires significant cutting of both the intercoolers and the vehicle itself. The AWE design can be fitted in less than half the time of the typical RS4 kit. This means paying less for labor charges. Since RS4 units were never intended to be used on the US S4 chassis, extensive modifying or tweaking of the areas around the intercoolers is needed to force fitment. The AWE Audi 2.7T Performance Intercooler Kit was designed and built to fit the US S4 chassis, resulting in a much better, cleaner fit with very little modification required.     Beginning after the secondary catalyst, the Track Edition picks up right before the rear axle and provides a full single 3* route from this point and splits to dual 3* tip outlets. The Track Edition has absolutely zero filter, making its sole purpose to increase the volume out of the B48 engine while remaining completely 50-state emissions compliant. A simple cut at the factory cut point is all it takes, and the Track Edition goes into place via four bolt-on components. We include a factory clamp for the cut point that allows drivers to easily swap back to their stock rear section if ever needed. Which option should you go with? Due to the structural differences between the 330i and 430i, we recommend the following configurations: 330i: With all factory emissions equipment in place, the Track Edition is recommended for those wanting an elevated exhaust experience from within the cabin. If you plan to upgrade anything further upstream, consider the Touring Edition. Otherwise, the Touring Edition will resemble stock from within the cabin. 430i: Given the coupe design of the 430i, interior acoustics differ when compared to its sedan sibling, with new frequencies making their way into cabin. Sophisticated, refined, and powerful, all at once. We spent considerable time examining how to maximize the performance and options of this exhaust system. The exhaust features thick .065" wall T304L stainless steel tubing, double-walled exhaust tips to reduce heat discoloration, and perfect fitment, right to the OE downpipe (or any downpipe made to mate to the factory exhaust). The Cat Back system is topped off with our signature 3.15" beveled exhaust tips, in Chrome Silver. The tips sport stamped AWE logos and are double-walled to ensure a mirror polish even under hard usage. The system has multiple slip joints with high-quality stainless band clamps, to allow optimal adjustment.Why did we choose 2.5 inch and not 3.0 inch diameter for our MK5 exhaust? Our first prototypes of this system were indeed 3.0 inch, but we found that the effort it took to move the large mass of air in the 3.0 inch system at lower rpms resulted in a loss of torque with very little offsetting gain up top. AWE*s Foiler* Wind Diffuser, once again, sets the standard for defeating wind buffeting. Originating on Porsche 991 models, each Foiler* is designed specifically for the platform They're going on (instead of using previous designs and applying it to a new model). If we've done this before, why didn't we use the same designs that work for Porsches? Well, it*s simple. The AWE B8.5 A5 2.0T Touring Edition Exhaust and Downpipe are designed using CAD modeling software to produce smooth gradual bends and to eliminate any interruption to the flow of exhaust gasses.
