The ThunderSpark Ignition Coil (part number 1015-1001) is a direct-fit replacement for 1994-2010 Chance Coach Transit Bus, El Dorado, Freightliner, and Orion Bus vehicles with 5.9L engines. Ignition Coils receive a signal from the distributor or engine control computer at the ideal time for combustion to occur and send a high voltage pulse to the spark plug to ignite the fuel air mixture in each cylinder.
