Vehicle Fitment

Fits: 1997-1998 Mercury Tracer 2.0L 121ci I4 SOHC [VIN:P]; 1997-2002 Ford Escort 2.0L 121ci I4 SOHC [VIN:P]; 2000-2004 Ford Focus 2.0L 121ci I4 SOHC [VIN:P].

Enginetech crankshaft kits include a remanufactured crankshaft along with the matching rod and main bearings for simplified ordering and guaranteed compatibility. Each crankshaft casting is individually inspected and machined on precision equipment to meet OE specifications. Rod and main journals are measured and ground to the appropriate oversize - not to exceed .030 over - and the kit includes the corresponding oversized bearings to match. Because each crankshaft is pre-ground and packaged before the order is placed, the exact journal size cannot be confirmed prior to shipment; the correct matching bearings are always included in the kit. All crankshafts are securely packaged to prevent transit damage and undergo a final engineering inspection before leaving the facility. Always verify the crankshaft part number against your engine's forging number, casting number, VIN code, rear main seal type, and reluctor wheel tooth count before installation - multiple crankshaft configurations exist for many engine families.
