Enginetech part number V2388S is a direct-replacement intake valve for 1996-2004 Ford 4.6L, 5.4L, 6.8L applications. Key specifications: 1.752" head, 0.2750" stem, 4.622" overall length, chrome stem.

Important Notes

  • This valve is engineered for CNG and LPG bi-fuel engine service. Do not substitute a gasoline-only valve in alt-fuel applications.
  • Stellite-faced valve. The cobalt-chromium alloy face resists the higher operating temperatures and dry-fuel wear seen in CNG, LPG, and propane service - a defining feature of the part, not interchangeable with a standard gasoline-spec valve.
  • Select applications are specific to engine VIN codes: 9. Verify the eighth character of your VIN against the fitment data before ordering.
  • Chrome-plated stem provides a hard, low-friction wear surface for extended service life.
  • Always verify head diameter, stem diameter, and overall valve length against the OE valve being replaced before installation. Valve dimensions vary across engine families - a visual match is not enough.
