AWE initially tried to unite the VA WRX and STI into one exhaust - as everyone else does. But it didn't sound quite right, so AWE went ground up on the EJ25 Touring Edition, to make something truly radical, and unique to the properties of this BOXER. It's a direct bolt-on, full 3" straight-through design - the Touring Edition allows the VA STI / GV WRX / GV STI Sedan to deliver its famous rumble without rasp or in-cabin drone, while introducing intoxicating crackles when shifting, thanks to AWE's proprietary drone-canceling solution, 180 Technology. This configuration compliments the EJ25 in every way. Seriously. And don't forget about Conversion Kits: AWE made it easy to convert from a Track Edition to a Touring Edition, or vice versa if you decide later to turn it up, or turn it down.
