Replacement engine valley cover plate for GM Gen IV LS V8 engines being converted away from Displacement on Demand (DOD / Active Fuel Management). The factory DOD valley cover houses the lifter oil manifold assembly that feeds the collapsing AFM lifters. When those lifters and the manifold are removed, this non-DOD plate takes their place and seals the valley correctly without the AFM oil passages.
Also a straightforward replacement for a cracked, warped, or leaking valley cover on engines already running a non-DOD setup. Manufactured to OE form, fit, and function by Enginetech, a longtime supplier to engine rebuilders and professional shops.
