The Walker Products Vehicle Speed Sensor (part number 240-1010) is a direct-fit replacement for 1988-2000 Chevrolet, GMC, and Oldsmobile vehicles with 4.3L, 5.7L, and 6.2L engines. Vehicle Speed Sensors send electrical pulses to the computer, pulses which are generated through a magnet that spin a sensor coil. When the vehicle’s speed increases, the frequency of the pulse also increases.
