The Walker Products Vehicle Speed Sensor (part number 240-1038) is a direct-fit replacement for 1995-2013 Chevrolet, Geo, Lexus, and Toyota vehicles with 1.8L, 1.6L, and 3.0L engines. Vehicle Speed Sensors send electrical pulses to the computer, pulses which are generated through a magnet that spin a sensor coil. When the vehicle’s speed increases, the frequency of the pulse also increases.
