The Walker Products Vehicle Speed Sensor (part number 240-1066) is a direct-fit replacement for 1999-2017 Hyundai and Kia vehicles with 1.6L, 1.5L, and 2.0L engines. Vehicle Speed Sensors send electrical pulses to the computer, pulses which are generated through a magnet that spin a sensor coil. When the vehicle’s speed increases, the frequency of the pulse also increases.
