The Walker Products Vehicle Speed Sensor (part number 240-1070) is a direct-fit replacement for 2000-2011 Chevrolet, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, and Saturn vehicles with 2.4L, 2.2L, and 2.0L engines. Vehicle Speed Sensors send electrical pulses to the computer, pulses which are generated through a magnet that spin a sensor coil. When the vehicle’s speed increases, the frequency of the pulse also increases.
