The Walker Products Vehicle Speed Sensor (part number 240-1085) is a direct-fit replacement for 2007-2019 Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury vehicles with 3.5L, 3.7L, and 2.7L engines. Vehicle Speed Sensors send electrical pulses to the computer, pulses which are generated through a magnet that spin a sensor coil. When the vehicle’s speed increases, the frequency of the pulse also increases.
