The Walker Products Vehicle Speed Sensor (part number 240-1117) is a direct-fit replacement for 2000-2005 Kia vehicles with 1.5L, 1.6L, and 1.8L engines. Vehicle Speed Sensors send electrical pulses to the computer, pulses which are generated through a magnet that spin a sensor coil. When the vehicle’s speed increases, the frequency of the pulse also increases.
