The Walker Products Vehicle Speed Sensor (part number 240-1133) is a direct-fit replacement for 1999-2004 Ford vehicles with 7.3L, 6.8L, and 5.4L engines. Vehicle Speed Sensors send electrical pulses to the computer, pulses which are generated through a magnet that spin a sensor coil. When the vehicle’s speed increases, the frequency of the pulse also increases.
