The Walker Products Vehicle Speed Sensor (part number 240-1142) is a direct-fit replacement for 2006-2018 Audi and Volkswagen vehicles with 2.0L and 3.6L engines. Vehicle Speed Sensors send electrical pulses to the computer, pulses which are generated through a magnet that spin a sensor coil. When the vehicle’s speed increases, the frequency of the pulse also increases.
