The Walker Products Vehicle Speed Sensor (part number 240-1146) is a direct-fit replacement for 2003-2019 Ford vehicles with 5.4L, 6.0L, and 6.8L engines. Vehicle Speed Sensors send electrical pulses to the computer, pulses which are generated through a magnet that spin a sensor coil. When the vehicle’s speed increases, the frequency of the pulse also increases.
