The Walker Products Vehicle Speed Sensor (part number 240-1151) is a direct-fit replacement for 1995-2007 Audi, Porsche, and Volkswagen vehicles with 2.8L, 1.8L, and 3.0L engines. Vehicle Speed Sensors send electrical pulses to the computer, pulses which are generated through a magnet that spin a sensor coil. When the vehicle’s speed increases, the frequency of the pulse also increases.
