The Walker Products Vehicle Speed Sensor (part number 240-1159) is a direct-fit replacement for 2009-2023 Chevrolet and Pontiac vehicles with 1.6L and 1.5L engines. Vehicle Speed Sensors send electrical pulses to the computer, pulses which are generated through a magnet that spin a sensor coil. When the vehicle’s speed increases, the frequency of the pulse also increases.
