The Walker Products Vehicle Speed Sensor (part number 240-91042) is a direct-fit replacement for 1999-2021 Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Mitsubishi vehicles with 3.5L, 2.7L, and 5.7L engines. Vehicle Speed Sensors send electrical pulses to the computer, pulses which are generated through a magnet that spin a sensor coil. When the vehicle’s speed increases, the frequency of the pulse also increases.
