The Walker Products Vehicle Speed Sensor (part number 240-91045) is a direct-fit replacement for 1995-2017 Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, and Oldsmobile vehicles with 3.1L, 3.8L, and 3.6L engines. Vehicle Speed Sensors send electrical pulses to the computer, pulses which are generated through a magnet that spin a sensor coil. When the vehicle’s speed increases, the frequency of the pulse also increases.
