The Enginetech EB013-4 is a set of bronze (copper/lead alloy) piston pin bushings supplied as a 4 pack. Fits 1991-2005 Ford/Kia/Mazda/Mercury 1.6L/1.8L applications.

Important Notes

  • Sold as a 4 Pack - one complete set for an L4 engine. Order additional packs for multiple engines.
  • Supplied semi-finished on the inside diameter: the bushing ID must be final-reamed or honed to match the wrist pin after pressing into the connecting rod small end. This is a standard machine-shop operation and establishes the running clearance on the pin.
  • Bronze (copper/lead alloy) construction matches OE material spec for durability and anti-seizure performance under high cyclic loads at the rod small end.
  • Always verify the OE bushing ID, OD, length, and rod part number against the original bushing being replaced before installation. Dimensions vary across engine families even when sharing similar makes or displacements.

Enginetech Piston Pin Bushings are a copper/lead alloy bronze, cast to OE-equivalent specification for connecting rod small-end service. These bushings are supplied semi-finished on the inside diameter, meaning the ID must be final-reamed or honed to match the wrist pin after the bushing has been pressed into the rod - a standard rebuild-shop operation that ensures a precise running clearance on the piston pin. Each part number is engineered against the specific rod, pin, and bushing seat geometry of the listed applications, so cross-reference verification against the OEM part number is essential before installation.
