The Walker Products Vehicle Speed Sensor (part number 240-1016) is a direct-fit replacement for 1999-2011 Ford, Jaguar, and Mercury vehicles with 2.0L, 2.3L, and 2.5L engines. Vehicle Speed Sensors send electrical pulses to the computer, pulses which are generated through a magnet that spin a sensor coil. When the vehicle’s speed increases, the frequency of the pulse also increases.
