The Walker Products Vehicle Speed Sensor (part number 240-1059) is a direct-fit replacement for 2000-2010 Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury vehicles with 4.6L, 4.0L, and 3.9L engines. Vehicle Speed Sensors send electrical pulses to the computer, pulses which are generated through a magnet that spin a sensor coil. When the vehicle’s speed increases, the frequency of the pulse also increases.
