The Walker Products Vehicle Speed Sensor (part number 240-91125) is a direct-fit replacement for 1997-2005 Ford and Lincoln vehicles with 5.4L, 4.6L, and 4.2L engines. Vehicle Speed Sensors send electrical pulses to the computer, pulses which are generated through a magnet that spin a sensor coil. When the vehicle’s speed increases, the frequency of the pulse also increases.
