The Walker Products Vehicle Speed Sensor (part number 240-1064) is a direct-fit replacement for 1999-2011 Hyundai and Kia vehicles with 3.8L, 3.3L, and 2.0L engines. Vehicle Speed Sensors send electrical pulses to the computer, pulses which are generated through a magnet that spin a sensor coil. When the vehicle’s speed increases, the frequency of the pulse also increases.
