The Walker Products Vehicle Speed Sensor (part number 240-1065) is a direct-fit replacement for 1999-2008 Hyundai and Kia vehicles with 2.0L, 2.5L, and 2.4L engines. Vehicle Speed Sensors send electrical pulses to the computer, pulses which are generated through a magnet that spin a sensor coil. When the vehicle’s speed increases, the frequency of the pulse also increases.
