The Walker Products Vehicle Speed Sensor (part number 240-1101) is a direct-fit replacement for 2001-2015 Chevrolet and GMC vehicles with 8.1L and 6.6L engines. Vehicle Speed Sensors send electrical pulses to the computer, pulses which are generated through a magnet that spin a sensor coil. When the vehicle’s speed increases, the frequency of the pulse also increases.
