The Walker Products Vehicle Speed Sensor (part number 240-1102) is a direct-fit replacement for 1995-2012 Audi and Volkswagen vehicles with 2.8L, 4.2L, and 5.2L engines. Vehicle Speed Sensors send electrical pulses to the computer, pulses which are generated through a magnet that spin a sensor coil. When the vehicle’s speed increases, the frequency of the pulse also increases.
