The Walker Products Vehicle Speed Sensor (part number 240-91003) is a direct-fit replacement for 1995-2006 Ford, Lincoln, Mazda, and Mercury vehicles with 4.0L, 3.0L, and 4.6L engines. Vehicle Speed Sensors send electrical pulses to the computer, pulses which are generated through a magnet that spin a sensor coil. When the vehicle’s speed increases, the frequency of the pulse also increases.
