The Walker Products Vehicle Speed Sensor (part number 240-91020) is a direct-fit replacement for 1988-1996 Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, and GMC vehicles with 5.7L, 4.3L, and 2.5L engines. Vehicle Speed Sensors send electrical pulses to the computer, pulses which are generated through a magnet that spin a sensor coil. When the vehicle’s speed increases, the frequency of the pulse also increases.
