The Walker Products Vehicle Speed Sensor (part number 240-91005) is a direct-fit replacement for 1996-2014 Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, and GMC vehicles with 5.7L, 5.3L, and 4.2L engines. Vehicle Speed Sensors send electrical pulses to the computer, pulses which are generated through a magnet that spin a sensor coil. When the vehicle’s speed increases, the frequency of the pulse also increases.
