The Walker Products Vehicle Speed Sensor (part number 240-1095) is a direct-fit replacement for 1990-1993 Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, and Pontiac vehicles with 5.0L, 5.7L, and 4.9L engines. Vehicle Speed Sensors send electrical pulses to the computer, pulses which are generated through a magnet that spin a sensor coil. When the vehicle’s speed increases, the frequency of the pulse also increases.
