The Walker Products Vehicle Speed Sensor (part number 240-91090) is a direct-fit replacement for 1995-2000 Ford and Mercury vehicles with 3.4L, 3.0L, and 3.8L engines. Vehicle Speed Sensors send electrical pulses to the computer, pulses which are generated through a magnet that spin a sensor coil. When the vehicle’s speed increases, the frequency of the pulse also increases.
