Important Notes
- One phaser required per engine on this application. If the engine uses multiple cam positions (intake + exhaust, or dual-bank), the other positions use different part numbers.
- Construction: steel sprocket body for tooth-wear durability and dimensional stability under chain load.
- Sprocket spec: 44 teeth, tooth thickness 0.210". Verify tooth count against the OE sprocket before installation.
- Service recommendation: replace the VVT phaser as part of any major timing chain service. A worn or sticking phaser causes cam timing codes (P0011, P0014, P0016, P0017), rough idle, and loss of power at specific RPM bands.
